Why Darwin Matters to Christians
Why Darwin Matters to Christians is a guide to Christianity’s relationship to Darwinism. The book is written for the man in the street by Rev. Adrian Bailey, chaplain at the orthopedic hospital in Oswestry, and is accessible in style, as well as being a radical, scholarly and closely argued discussion of the implications of Darwinism for the Christian faith. It sets out the overwhelming case for evolution and then considers how Christianity must adapt in order to accommodate it. Contemporary ethical issues such as genetic engineering, homosexuality and climate change are also considered. Adrian Bailey is unsparing in argument but the book ends on a note of hope.
